What would a social network that catered to a more neurodiverse society look like?
Bottom line, we all obviously do not think the same but in particular those with Aspergers, Autism (ASD), ADHD, Bi-Polar Disorder and other social/behavioral disorders are quite unique in the way we present ourselves to others and the world.
I’m creating a social network that allows us, those we care about and those who care about us to not only Survive but Thrive!
It also allows those who may not directly be affected by any diagnosis to have more information so they are able to hopefully have more understanding and patience for/with us.
My name is KayeCee Austin. I’m a Filmmaker/Entertainer/Vlog Show Host and Tech Founder. I’m passionate about “creating” as a whole but mostly about projects that seek to further us as one race “the human race”.
Women make up 51% percent of our population but only 16 % of the population in Film & Entertainment.
Regardless, I am proud to be a part this industry overall (men & women) in order to continue to make an impact with my storytelling gift and abilities.
I am a Filmmaker from The Los Angeles Film School and also a Women In Entertainment And Media Scholarship Awardee (From The Los Angeles Film School).
I am also a member of The IDA (International Documentary Association).
My degrees are in Social Psychology & Business Management. I am currently pursuing my Associates In Film at The Los Angeles Film School.
Lastly, I am a Retired Army Veteran. I served from the age of 17. My parents were my heroes and role models thus encouraging me to join— in order to be a part of something bigger than myself. I am the woman I am today thanks to them and the many awesome mentors who “helped to raise me” while serving all those years in the Army. I am eternally grateful.
